Okay so apparently collecting rainwater is illegal in a lot of western states due to “conservation efforts” what the living hell. “No you may not have water, free to all beings since the dawn of time, it is our government’s to control and you cannot have it” Alright then satan. What next? Air?

There were some prosecutions for that somewhere in the Northwest recently…

Attention all Bitcoin Millionaires!!

What a rude awakening! A couple weeks ago I noticed the buzz with Bitcoins and I bought in on it with $500.00 and at 89.00 each I got 5.36 coins. Every day since I watched the prices go up  and up and I was excstatic. My original fear turned to joy and dreams of a possible vacation. This was my very first investment ever and it was doing great. I awoke this morning to see an all time high of 260.00 each coin. I am away from home and was able to use my cellphone app to view it but an hour later I looked and the price shot down to 120.00!! WTF?!! Now I am freaking out!! I need to sell my coins so I dont lose my initial investment. I ended up selling 3 coins and nothing was working for me. My cellphone wasnt allowing me to sell. My laptop screen broke on the drive over to my current location. The computer at the house I am staying at doesnt connect. Why is this all happening at one time?  So now I am driving all over town to find a computer I can use to access Mt.Gox to sel my coins before I lose anymore money.  After driving all over town I find a library. At this time my cellphone battery is dead. Evrn the library computer is horrible. But I reluctantly sell 3 of my coins to at least cover my innitial investment. And now I feel horrible.

The amount of effort I put in to buy the coins in the first place and then to see the rise and sudden fall. So now I am left with only 2.36 cp

coins and if there are any new Bitcoin millionaires out there that have coins they would be willing to donate to

help me get back on my dream machine. I would be forever in your debt. 3 coins worth a little or alot depending on when and where but

I just want to get back to where I was.

Fuck you Coinbase!!

www.Coinbase.com  is bullshit!! I made a purchase of 1 bitcoin. I linked all of my banking information as directed. I received notice that my purchase was pending a bank conformation and within about 4-5 days I would receive my bitcoin and then I would be able to make more purchases without the delay. However on the day and hour that the bitcoin was supposed to be in  I receive an email saying : Unfortunately, we have decided to cancel this order because it appears to be high risk. We do not send out any bitcoins on high risk transactions, and your bank account will not be charged.

This is the second time this has happened. There is nothing wrong with my bank account. And its a real piss-off to have to wait only to be screwed last minute.

Especially the day I purchased my bitcoin was at $89.00 and is now $127.00.  Time is money a-holes!!!

Living Wall

These vegetated surfaces don’t just look pretty. They have other benefits as well, including cooling city blocks, reducing loud noises, and improving a building’s energy efficiency. What’s more, a recent modeling study shows that green walls can potentially reduce large amounts of air pollution in what’s called a “street canyon,” or the corridor between tall buildings.

For the study, Thomas Pugh, a biogeochemist at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, and his colleagues created a computer model of a green wall with generic vegetation in a Western European city. Then they recorded chemical reactions based on a variety of factors, such as wind speed and building placement.

The simulation revealed a clear pattern: A green wall in a street canyon trapped or absorbed large amounts of nitrogen dioxide and particulate matter—both pollutants harmful to people, said Pugh. Compared with reducing emissions from cars, little attention has been focused on how to trap or take up more of the pollutants, added Pugh, whose study was published last year in the journal Environmental Science & Technology.

That’s why the green-wall study is “putting forward an alternative solution that might allow [governments] to improve air quality in these problem hot spots,” he said.Compared with reducing emissions from cars, little attention has been focused on how to trap or take up more of the pollutants, added Pugh, whose study was published last year in the journal Environmental Science & Technology.

We enter a little coffeehouse with a friend of mine and give our order. While we’re aproaching our table two people come in and they go to the counter: ‘Five coffees, please. Two of them for us and three suspended’ They pay for their order, take the two and leave. I ask my friend: “What are those ‘suspended’ coffees?” My friend: “Wait for it and you will see.” Some more people enter. Two girls ask for one coffee each, pay and go. The next order was for seven coffees and it was made by three lawyers - three for them and four ‘suspended’. While I still wonder what’s the deal with those ‘suspended’ coffees I enjoy the sunny weather and the beautiful view towards the square infront of the café. Suddenly a man dressed in shabby clothes who looks like a beggar comes in throught the door and kindly asks ‘Do you have a suspended coffee ?’ It’s simple - people pay in advance for a coffee meant for someone who can not afford a warm bevarage. The tradition with the suspended coffees started in Naples, but it has spread all over the world and in some places you can order not only a suspended coffee, but also a sandwitch or a whole meal. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have such cafés or even grocery stores in every town where the less fortunate will find hope and support ? If you own a business why don’t you offer it to your clients… I am sure many of them will like it.
